Terms of participation
These terms describe how The League of Rising Scales handles show results, points and competitor profiles, and what participants can expect from the League.
Official results are the source of truth
The League only processes official results as published by the organising shows. The League applies its scoring rules to those results, but never alters, re-judges or overrules a show result.
Points and rankings
- Points are derived from the active ruleset and the show factor of each show.
- Published point transactions are immutable; corrections are voided and re-issued.
- Hobbyist and Professional standings are separate rankings.
- Vat entries do not earn hobbyist points.
Competitor profiles
Profiles are created from names appearing in official results. A competitor can claim their own profile to manage their display name and country. Claiming a profile does not grant any influence over results or points.
Corrections and rulings
Suspected errors are handled as integrity cases. Where a decision affects standings, the reasoning is published on the League Rulings page.
Liability
The League publishes rankings with care. Official show results remain the responsibility of the organising shows; the League is not liable for errors in the source results it receives.
